I love French restaurants, Spanish Tapas bars, German Xmas markets, Italian coffee shops and English tea shops.

I enjoy the nostalgia of looking back at the supposed genteel stoicism of the embattled Brits from b&w war films made in the years before I was born; but I also enjoyed the thrill of looking forward to more integration and more opportunities to have new experiences on my doorstep that resulted from being at peace and part of something greater than Great Britain.
