Claudio was the Team Leader/Director of the two phases (2008-2017) of the EU-Vietnam Multilateral Trade Assistance Project (EU-MUTRAP). He is presently Associate Professor of International Law at Bocconi University, Milan. For EU-MUTRAP he led a task force of more than 1,100 experts to promote the integration of Vietnam in the world economic, trade and investment community. He is also visiting professorial fellow at Georgetown Law School (2002 and 2003) and at a several universities in South and Central America (Nicaragua and Brazil), Europe (France, Switzerland and UK) and Asia (China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong). His experience combines academic research with applied research within international organizations such as GATT,  WTO, World Bank, IMF, UNCTAD, WCO, EU and APEC). He specialises in international economic law and international trade and investment law.
